Systems Integration

Enter it once. Every system agrees.

When sales, accounting and operations each keep their own copy of the truth, someone spends their week reconciling them. We connect the systems in code, with logging and retries, so the copies stop drifting apart.

In short

Business systems integration is connecting the separate software a company runs on, such as accounting, payments, CRM, e-commerce and in-house apps, so records move between them automatically and stay consistent. FIMM builds these connections in code on Laravel and Python: API connectors, webhooks, scheduled sync jobs and a reconciliation view that shows what matched and what failed. It suits data flows that are too large, too sensitive or too custom for a no-code tool.

What we build

What we build.

A

Accounting connectors

Two-way links to QuickBooks Online, Xero and similar ledgers for invoices, payments, customers and items, built around each platform's API rules and usage limits.

B

Payment and billing sync

Stripe events flowing into your ledger and CRM: charges, refunds, subscriptions, payouts and fees recorded where your accountant expects to find them.

C

CRM and e-commerce links

Orders, contacts and deal stages kept in step between your store, CRM and fulfilment tools, with clear rules for which system owns each field.

D

APIs for older systems

When an in-house system has no API, we add one, or build a safe import and export layer so it can join the rest of your software.

E

Reconciliation dashboard

One screen showing every sync run, what matched, what failed and why, so finance can trust the numbers without opening a spreadsheet.

F

Error handling and alerts

Queued jobs with retries and duplicate protection. A failed sync raises an alert to a named person so it can be fixed.

How it ships

How an integration project runs.

We map the data first, agree which system owns each record, then build and test against your real accounts before anything goes live.

01

Map

We list every system, every field that moves between them, and where errors or double entry happen today.

02

Design

We decide which system is the source of truth for each record and how conflicts, deletions and retries are handled.

03

Build

Connectors and sync jobs are built and tested in sandbox accounts, then run alongside your current process to compare results.

04

Run

We switch over, watch the first live cycles closely, and hand over logs, documentation and alerting.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

How is this different from Zapier or Make automation?
No-code tools are a good fit for light, simple flows, and we build those under our Workflow Automation service. Coded integration suits high volume, complex mapping, sensitive financial data or systems without a ready connector. It runs on infrastructure you control, with version control, tests and logs your team can inspect.
Can you connect QuickBooks or Xero to our own software?
Yes. We build two-way integrations with QuickBooks Online and Xero for invoices, payments, customers and items. We design around each platform's API rules and usage limits, and keep a log of every record sent so your bookkeeper can trace any entry back to its source.
What happens when one of the systems is down?
Sync jobs queue and retry automatically, so nothing is lost while a service is unavailable. If a record keeps failing, for example because of a missing customer or a closed accounting period, it lands in an exception list with a clear reason and someone on your team gets an alert.
Our old system has no API. Can you still integrate it?
Usually, yes. Depending on the system, we add a small API in front of its database, use scheduled file exports and imports, or read from a reporting copy. We choose the approach that keeps the old system safe and does not change how your staff use it.
Who owns the integration code?
You do. The code lives in your repository, runs on your cloud account or on ours under a care plan, and comes with documentation. Credentials stay in your accounts, and you can move the work to another team at any time.
What does a systems integration cost?
Business systems integration starts from $1,999 as a one-time fee for a connection between two systems. Ongoing monitoring can be added through a monthly care plan.
Can you fix an integration someone else built?
Yes. Connectors that create duplicates, drop records or fail silently are a common problem. We review the code and the logs, fix the root cause, add tests and alerting, and document how it works so it stops being a mystery.
